Camp Dodge Road Bridge Engineering Study

HEB Engineers has completed an engineering study, geotechnical report, and hydrologic/hydraulic (H&H) analysis for the Camp Dodge Road Bridge over Cowboy Brook in the White Mountain National Forest.  The bridge, located near the Pinkham Notch Visitors Center, was damaged from flooding during Tropical Storm Irene in August 2011.  HEB’s structural engineers will proceed with design of a replacement bridge upon approval of the studies, which will raise the bridge and allow for greater flow during future storm events.

Restricted flow caused serious flooding of the bridge & Camp Dodge Road.
