LAND SURVEY TECHNICIAN

HEB Engineers is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Land Survey Technician in our North Conway, NH office. This full-time role involves a mix of fieldwork and in-office survey tasks. Experience: 2+ years of land surveying experience required.

Education:    Associate’s or bachelor’s degree with a technical background in surveying is preferred.

Licensure:  LSIT preferred.

Software:  Experience with AutoCAD is required.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing field surveys for a variety of clients and projects, including boundary and ROW surveys, existing-features surveys, housing and development projects, and bridge reconstruction/rehabilitation projects.
• Perform fieldwork in a wide range of conditions, including sustained periods of heat, cold, and inclement weather, with job sites ranging from city centers to remote and mountainous terrain.
• Utilize Carlson Survey and AutoCAD Civil 3D to draft detailed survey plans for recording and basemaps for engineering design.
• Process field data, research deed histories, and use the information gathered to calculate parcel and ROW boundaries for review by a Senior Land Surveyor.
• Perform moderate physical work and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
