HEB Engineers is currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a full-time employee.  This position will be split between IT support and a second specialty that you have such as drafting. This role will be responsible for providing IT support to our offices and remote staff, with an additional focus on a second specialty such as drafting, CAD management, engineering, surveying, or administration, depending on the candidate's skills and HEB's needs. We are dedicated to finding the right individual to fit this unique role. As HEB continues to grow and our IT needs evolve, there is potential for this position to transition into a full-time IT Coordinator role. Experience:  3+ years of experience in IT support.

Education:    Associate's degree or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma required.


  • Proven technical expertise in computer systems management.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
  • Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating hardware maintenance, ensuring system functionality, and planning hardware configurations.
  • Monitoring system and network performance.
  • Acting as a technical resource for staff by diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Designing and enforcing network security measures and ensuring timely security updates.
  • Coordinating procurement and distribution of hardware and software.
  • Configuring new and pre-owned computers for users.
  • Ensuring regularly scheduled backups of network files are performed.
  • Researching new hardware and software technologies.
  • Maintaining inventory of IT hardware and software.
