Vice President of Business Development / Technical Director of Structural Engineering
Overview
As HEB’s Vice President of Business Development, Chris aims to strengthens client relationships and identify strategic opportunities that support HEB’s long-term growth. He also serves as the Technical Director of Structural Engineering, overseeing the quality and consistency of the firm’s structural engineering work, including engineering standards, construction administration practices, and technical training.
Chris joined HEB in 2006 and quickly established himself as a leader on the Structural Engineering Team. Over the past 20 years, he has managed the majority of HEB’s bridge and structural engineering projects while taking on increasing leadership responsibilities within the firm. In 2011, he was invited to join HEB’s Leadership Team and became a shareholder. He was elected to the Board of Directors and became the Corporate Vice President in 2013.
Chris is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Chris is a board-certified Structural Engineer and also holds certifications for NHDOT Local Public Agency and MaineDOT Local Project Administration. Chris is a member of the Structural Engineers of NH, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Structural Engineers Institute.

Bio
After growing up in Southern Maine, Chris earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Maine, summa cum laude. Chris resides in Conway, NH, with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, whether cheering on his children, relaxing on the lake, or hiking and skiing in the White Mountains.
