HEB was engaged by the architect to provide master planning, survey, civil and structural design services for the new 1,000-student, $33 million high school and vocational center. The 200,000 square foot facility is located on a 60-acre site in Conway requiring the design and permitting of a 4,450’ access road to the site. In addition to classrooms and a library, the 3-story building has a full gymnasium and locker room facility, a 700-seat auditorium, cafeteria, and a separate wing to house one of New Hampshire’s Career and Technical Centers. The new facility boasts tennis courts, playing fields and a state-of-the- art track/football field, as well as significant parking and storage areas.

Civil design and surveying services included site selection, boundary and topographic survey, preliminary and final design, permitting, preparation of construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction administration.

Structural design services included all aspects of the building from the foundation up. HEB’s engineers worked with the architect and construction manager from design development through construction observation.
