In 2010, HEB was selected for Phases II & III of the Chocorua Village Improvements project in Tamworth, NH. The project includes intersection realignment for safety considerations, roadway reconstruction, sidewalk improvements, and traffic calming measures in the historic Chocorua Village area along NH Route 16. HEB was responsible for coordinating noise and traffic studies, easements with private landowners and Eversource, and designing improvements that meet NHDOT’s TAP (formerly TE) requirements while meeting the Town’s and Tamworth citizens’ expectations. HEB was also responsible for near full-time resident engineering during construction to meet Local Public Assistance (LPA) requirements. HEB’s construction services included onsite observation of roadway and utility installation, daily field reports, contractor personnel and payroll tracking, change order coordination, and significant project close-out documentation. Construction was completed in the fall of 2014.
