Tucker Gordon

Environmental Specialist

Overview

Tucker joined HEB in 2018 and provides environmental support to the Civil, Structural, and Survey Teams for a variety of public infrastructure and site development projects, as well as manages environmentally focused projects. His responsibilities include development of environmental studies and reports, completion of natural resource inventories and associated reports, State Local and Federal environmental permitting, coordination with environmental regulatory agencies, and environmentally focused project planning review and design. In addition, Tucker is on his way to becoming a NH Certified Wetland Scientist and is currently in his second year as a NH Apprentice Wetland Scientist. Prior to joining HEB, Tucker spent several years working on, and managing produce farms here in the Mount Washington Valley.

Tucker is certified in NHDOT Local Public Agency Administration as well as Stream Crossing Assessments through NHDES. Tucker is a member in numerous professional organizations including NHANRS, NAWM, and ASCE.

Bio

Tucker earned his Bachelor of Arts in Earth & Planetary Science from Johns Hopkins University in 2016. While in school, Tucker worked on several Environmental Chemistry research projects under the supervision of two different faculty members and is listed as an author in several scientific publications. He was born and raised outside of Boston, but has strong family ties to the Valley, spending most weekends and summers of his life here before moving here full-time after graduating from college. Outside of work, Tucker enjoys skiing, mountain biking, camping, cooking, and hiking with his wife Maika and dog Sawyer.
