He has assisted in the collection of field data for several graduate student studies across New England including old growth dendrochronology and adaptive silviculture for climate change. Additionally, an internship with the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests sparked his interest in boundary maintenance and land surveying – paving the way for his employment with HEB. Having lived in the MWV since starting college he is an avid outdoorsman who loves to ski, hike, and camp. A self-proclaimed “tree nerd” he also enjoys quizzing coworkers about local species and completing woodworking projects from trees harvested in the area.
