HEB provided a
feasibility study and contract documents for a window replacement project.
Services included an engineer's opinion of probable cost for replacement of 80
windows and investigation of historical significance of the building and
coordination with state and Federal agencies. In addition, there was a roof
replacement project with special detail to the historic cupola and roof rail
and HEB also designed elevator and electrical system upgrades.
HEB
has had four previous term contracts with the USPS for projects in Maine, New
Hampshire and Vermont. We have designed many types of projects
including: architectural interior and exterior repairs, handicap access,
loading platform enclosures, energy improvements, foundation drainage systems,
workroom renovations, and roofing repairs (built-up, EPDM, slate, and metal),
and elevator upgrades. Our site work includes repair of post office parking
lots, site drainage, driveway access and intersection design, property surveys
(boundary and topographic), loading platform accessibility and ADA access. We
performed construction administration services for nearly every work order
including full time inspection for roofing projects. In addition, the
design team through a long standing working relationship with one another
coordinates work effectively by utilizing a common CADD base plan which
eliminates redrawing and minimizes conflicts. Each firm is well versed in the
others design methodology, standards, and levels of expectation. Project
designs are cost-effective, while meeting the needs of the client with
efficiency and innovation. Our staffs use Auto CAD and SoftDesk software.
Designs are stylized for each client’s requirements while standardized for use
in similar situations. Careful coordination in order to assure no overlap or
duplication of service is also a characteristic of our well-organized and
experienced team.
